Steve Hoban has been appointed as the chief executive of Preston-based forecourts specialist Suresite Group.
Suresite supports fuel and convenience retailers by providing a range of specialist services including payment and data solutions, wetstock management and health and safety compliance. The group supports more than 1,400 retailers across the UK.
Steve specialises in building customer loyalty and brings more than 25 years of global retail experience to the role.
He joins from Lakeland, where he launched its loyalty scheme, and has previously worked for Asda and as the general manager of Africa’s largest grocery retailer, Pick n Pay.
Suresite has also announced a number of new appointments to lead its newly-created sales and commercial team.
Nick Horne has been appointed as sales and commercial director, offering 15 years of experience in key account management, new business sales and sales leadership.
Eva Jones, who previously spent 14 years at Shell, joins as head of product development and innovation. Joanne Ruffley joins Suresite as partner manager from Conferma Pay. At Suresite, Joanne is responsible for key customer relationships and the delivery of successful end-to-end programmes with high return on investment for the company’s clients.
