When Bestway Wholesale revealed their potential hurdle to becoming a Wetstock Live customer, Suresite’s IT team rose to the challenge
Bestway Wholesale, the UK’s largest independent cash & carry operator, had expressed an interest in tapping into Suresite’s world first ‘real time’ wetstock monitoring for its forecourts. However their current provider, despite not being able to offer 24/7 live monitoring, did provide a useful asset database.
This online resource was much relied upon by the company, providing a convenient, cloud-based library for all their documentation relating to site maintenance.
Not wanting this barrier to stand in the way of completing a hat trick- signing Bestway up for wetstock as well as their existing card payment and H&S accounts – Suresite pledged to build a bespoke online register for their customer at no extra charge.
The new electronic site register for forecourt compliance control can be accessed at both head office and site level and flags up when testing and maintenance are due.
Barry Mullins, customer relationship manager, Suresite, said: “Bestway Wholesale was already a Suresite H&S customer, as well as using our payment card services at a number of their forecourts.
“As a trusted supplier, they were also keen to partner with us on wetstock, but our service didn’t offer everything they were getting from their existing provider.
“We worked with them to remove this obstacle, designing an online system for them in-house. It is this kind of active listening, rising to a challenge and innovation that our customers have come to rely upon.”
Ian Linington, retail operations manager, Bestway Wholesale said: “Suresite designed and built a solution that suited our business requirement and enabled us to take advantage of their real time wetstock management.“I am confident that as business needs change, they will continue to try and meet our specific needs. As customer service goes, this is first class.”
Unlike traditional wetstock analysis, Suresite Wetstock Live is a fully real-time solution, sending data continuously from sites every minute of every day.
This allows for continual monitoring of all elements of wetstock, including pump flow rates, delivery validation and the implementation of data driven alarms for stock levels and water – all on one intelligent web portal platform.
