Hundreds of entrants were whittled down to just six finalists in each category – and Suresite made the grade for both the Employer of the Year and Medium Business awards.
For Employer of the Year, Suresite is up against Advocacy Focus, Myerscough College & University Centre, PM+M, Digital 22 and Pendleside Hospice.
In the Medium Business category, competition comes from AluFoldDirect, Flavour Warehouse, Pure AV, Anderton Gables and MGS Technical Plastics.
Speaking to Lancashire Business View, publisher Richard Slater said: “The volume and quality of entries has remained as high as ever and we now move on to the presentation part of the process, before our panels of highly qualified judges face the difficult task of selecting the winners.”
Keith Bevan, chief business development officer, Suresite, said: “if you want to be a top business, you also need to be a top employer. We are very proud of these two shortlistings and are now preparing in earnest for the next round.”
In 2019, Suresite was shortlisted for three BIBA awards, including Employer of the Year and Business of the Year.
The Red Rose awards, organised by Lancashire Business View magazine, celebrate the best in Lancashire business. They have been running annually since 2011.
The winners of the Red Rose Awards 2019 will be announced at the Blackpool’s Winter Gardens on Thursday 14 March.
