Suresite considered entering the Be Inspired Business Awards (BIBAs) held by the North West Chamber of Commerce last year and upon looking at the rigorous entry criteria felt the time wasn’t right. This year they made special preparations to make the most of these challenging awards and have successfully made it to the Final of ‘Small Business of the Year’ and ‘Most Inspiring Business of the Year’.
I spoke with the Chamber and some of the judges for the awards last year and I knew the process would make a big difference to our company and the way we do things. At the time I knew that we needed to spend more time collating information that we could present to highlight what a wonderful company we are. Over the past 12 months we have developed our record keeping, continued to innovate, driven the empowerment of our teams and brought external expertise in to our environment, such as IT experts and MBA students from Lancaster University, all in an effort to be the best that we can be.
Reaching the finals of these prestigious awards is recognition for all the hard work we have put in over the past 12 months, but it doesn’t stop there! We know the process of looking inwards to develop outwards is fundamental to our growth. We strive to do this every day, educating our teams, assessing our performance and driving this fabulous company to even higher standards and service. – Keith Bevan, Development Manager
The next stage of the BIBAs involves a Judges Roadshow, where each of the finalist will welcome the judges into their business for a short tour and introduction. Suresite are really looking forward to showing off the team of people that work in the offices, and showing the judges just what a special place Suresite is to work and be part of.
